    UNIQUE COMBINATION
Centurion is a unique combination of natural milk and egg product proteins, porcine plasma and special fats, providing the ultimate in nutrients so vital to growing calves.

    NUTRITIOUS ENERGY FOR GREATER GAINS
Because Merrick's high standards are comparable to edible standards, the natural ingredients in CENTURION Instant Calf Milk Replacer provide added nutrients for greater rates of gain. The higher fat levels provide extra energy also needed during high stress periods.

    PROVEN RESULTS
Over two years of tests prove that calves on the CENTURION Feeding Program maintain a high utilization of these ingredients and show higher than average daily gains.

NATURAL PREVENTION OF SCOURS SAVES TIME AND MONEY
CENTURION Instant Calf Milk Replacer promotes the prevention of scours naturally through the use of all natural ingredients. It provides the fast results you need for those calves already affected . . . so it saves money on medication and saves time. Most importantly, producers realize greater profits . . . because it saves calves!

    FOR BEST RESULTS:
  • When mixing CENTURION Calf Milk Replacer, water temperature should be 100°-120° F.
  • When feeding CENTURION Calf Milk Replacer to calves that are on whole milk or on another milk replacer, mix it half and half for 2 days (4 feedings) to maximize acceptance and assist in making a smooth transition.

    MIX & FEED INSTRUCTIONS

No whole milk is required after the colostrum feeding period when calf milk replacer is used.

Mix milk replacer powder at the rate of 8 oz of dry powder per 2 quarts of water (100°-120° F).

Feed approximately 2 quarts of reconstituted milk replacer TWICE A DAY.

    FOR BEST RESULTS:
Provide starter (grain mix) for calves when they are about 4 days of age and feed free choice up to appetite.

Calves can be weaned when they consume between 2 to 3 lbs of starter feed for 2 to 3 days. Weaning time may need to be adjusted for smaller calves

    GOOD MANAGEMENT PRACTICES

    • Good newborn care is crucial to maximize calf survival rates. Immediate feeding of colostrum is one of the most important steps to increase the survival and health of newborn calves. Feed 2 quarts of high quality, first milking colostrum within the first 30 minutes after birth. Feed an additional 2 quarts at 6 to 12 hours of age. Continue feeding colostrum through the third day after birth.
    • Begin your milk replacer program on the 4th day. Feed twice daily, at regular intervals, according to label directions. Wash pails thoroughly after each usage.
    • Have fresh, clean water available at all times.
    • Do not feed hay until after weaning, when calves are consuming adequate amounts of dry starter.
    • Calves should be housed in clean, dry individual pens or hutches that are well ventillated and draft free.
    • Keep Merrick's BLUE RIBBON Calf Electrolytes on hand to provide a nutrient supplement during stressful times such as illness, off-feed conditions and high environmental temperatures.
