BLUE RIBBON FOAL & HORSE ELECTROLYTE PACK
This highly palatable electrolyte pack is formulated
to supply a supplemental source of electrolytes and other nutrients for foals and
adult horses. The specific, balanced fortification in Blue Ribbon Foal & Horse
Electrolyte Pack provides a nutritional supplement that is ideal during stressful
conditions of water imbalance due to illness, diarrhea, off-feed conditions, heavy
workouts and high environmental temperatures. Merrick's Performance Horse Electrolyte
Pack is recommended for the equine athlete.
Under normal conditions, the digestive tract contains a delicate balance of both
beneficial and pathogenic bacteria. This balance can be quickly and easily disrupted
in times of stress to favor the pathogenic or disease causing bacteria. Foal &
Horse Electrolyte Pack provides special direct-fed microbials as a supplemental
source of beneficial bacteria to help support a desirable balance of microorganisms
in the animal's digestive tract.

MIX AND FEED INSTRUCTIONS FOR FOALS
Mix 4oz (1 scoop)* of BLUE RIBBON electrolytes with each 2 qts (2 L) of 90°-110°
F water. Feed BLUE RIBBON 2-4 hours after milk/milk replacer feeding. BLUE RIBBON
electrolytes should not be added to milk/milk replacer. Discard any solution not
consumed in 12 hours. Follow veterinary advise for treatment of disease factors.

MIXING AND FEEDING DIRECTIONS
FOR ADULT HORSES

Feed 4 oz (1 scoop)* packet of Blue Ribbon Foal & Horse Electrolyte Pack per
horse per day, top-dressed on the grain ration or mixed with 1 gallon of water.

Begin using this product 1-2 days prior to a stress related event and use for 2-3
days following each such event.

This product may also be fed during periods of extreme hot weather.

Make sure that the horse has access to plenty of clean fresh water at all times.

Under more intense working conditions such as racing, rodeo and equestrian events,
Performance Horse Electrolyte Pack is recommended.
