Merrick's provides a wide range of bolus products for many livestock species. Our boluses provide optimum degradation rates and contain highly absorbable ingredients. Boluses offer a convenient method of administering supplements to animals. They are durable, easy to administer and can be used along with other treatments. Merrick's boluses are packaged for easy access and convenient storage between treatments.


USAGE:
For oral use only as an aid in reducing fever and in the relief of minor muscular aches and joint pains in cattle and horses.
ASPIRIN HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR USE IN ORGANIC ANIMAL PRODUCTION
USAGE:
For use as above in mature horses and cattle.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For mature horses and cattle, administer orally 1/2 to 1-1/2 boluses 2 to 3 times daily. For best results, lubricate bolus and use a balling gun. Animals should be encouraged to drink water after administration..

USAGE:
A nonmedicated urea bolus for use as an antiseptic and proteolytic aid in dairy cattle, beef cattle and sheep.
DIRECTIONS:
For intrauterine or topical use only.
  1. Insert boluses directly into uterus or dissolve in 16 oz warm water for preparation of an intrauterine flush.
  2. CATTLE: 2-4 boluses
  3. SHEEP: 1/2 - 1 bolus
  4. Topical application for flushing wounds: Dissolve 4 boluses in16 oz of warm water. Repeat treatment in 24 to 48 hours if necessary.

PRECAUTIONS:
  1. Do not administer orally.
  2. Do not use in deep wounds or for burns.
  3. To prevent introduction of infection, stringent hygiene must be observed. Completely cleanse external area of animal with warm soapy water prior to inserting bolus or flush. Additional cleansing with approved disinfectant is preferred. Applicator should thoroughly cleanse arms and hands before treating animals.
