    FEATURES & BENEFITS
A calf's early life is critical to proper development. It's also the period of greatest stress. Scours is a common, costly, and complex problem. Calves are prime candidates for disease problems, particularly scours. Merrick's SUPER GUARD is an effective herd health management tool to aid in the prevention and treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours).

Recent research shows that high levels of Vitamin E are especially beneficial during periods of stress. SUPER GUARD provides extra vitamins and minerals to help rebuild body stores. SUPER GUARD also contains supplemental electrolytes.

SUPER GUARD is medicated with Oxytetracycline and Neomycin. This antibiotic combination aids in the prevention and treatment of bacterial enteritis (scours). Oxytetracycline is absorbed into the bloodstream as well as being active within the intestinal tract. Neomycin is primarily effective against intestinal bacteria.
