4. 3 mil HEAT SEALED BAGS - Merrick's bags are 3 mil, compared to commonly used .5 mil bags. They are 6 times thicker and are heat sealed to prevent moisture problems.

5. HUMAN GRADE WHEY - Merrick's uses the finest ingredients for higher digestibility and consistency in their milk replacers.

6. EDIBLE LARD - Human grade, edible lard is used in order to get maximum performance from Merrick's fat source. This is the highest digestible energy source used in milk replacer products.

7. 150 I.U./LB VITAMIN E - Merrick's uses 150 units of Vitamin E in their milk replacers. Research shows the advantage of this increased level compared to most milk replacers containing only 20 to 50 units.

8. PASTEURIZED - Merrick's milk replacer fat and protein bases are pasteurized. This not only gives the advantage of consistent product, but also contributes to quality.
